Functional Literacy – Quality of Educational Results

The authors consider types of literacy, questions of school education quality measurement in international PISA, PIRLS, TIMSS research and ways of didactic and methodological support of functional literacy development in the educational process. Special attention is paid to digital literacy, its importance and ways of its measurement. An experience of working with non-fluent and electronic texts to improve reading literacy and develop mathematical and science literacy is also presented.
