Abstract
This article covers the Lesson Study implementation in the educational process of the “Akylman” Presidential School in Kyrgyzstan. This method is a joint planning, observation and analysis of lessons aimed at improving the quality of education. The article discusses the stages of its implementation, its impact on teachers’ professional development, improvement of teaching quality, and school culture, as well as increasing students’ motivation. It is noted that Lesson Study promotes the development of critical thinking among teachers, their ability to adapt methods to students’ individual needs and more effective use of educational resources. It also describes the difficulties faced by teachers in implementing the method and suggests solutions to overcome them. The experience of the “Akylman” school shows that Lesson Study has significant potential for improving educational standards and can serve as a model for other schools striving for innovation and excellence in teaching.
