Abstract

In this article, the authors define the habits of mind and offer their descriptions. They are presented as a set of 16 dispositions that act as an amplifier of effective thinking skills. Explaining the nature of each habit, authors also consider ways of its acquisition. The conclusion discusses the benefits of these skills to school culture.
