Teacher retraining: a new format of practice

Abstract

The article examines the experience of organizing teaching practice for participants of retraining programs in the fields of “Mathematics Teacher” and “English Teacher” within the Project implemented by the Center of Excellence in collaboration with Pavlodar Pedagogical University. The paper highlights the features of the “3+2” learning format, the structure of the practice, the content of the tasks, and the expected outcomes. It also reveals the role of schools as a platform for developing professional competencies of future teachers, as well as the importance of a reflective approach and mentoring support in the process of teachers’ professional development.
